Vehicle Wrap / Car Wrap :

 

Vehicle wrapping is a trend which is fast picking up in India. Vehicle wrapping and Graphics for cars attracts all types of clients, be it corporate car owners who wish to advestise on their fleet of cars, or a car owner who wants to change the color (which is not available in paint) of his or her car with a unique finish and choice of colour or a young car entusiast who wants an attractive graphic on the vehicle to flaunt it. Needs of all the three type of client is to flaunt by means of wraps, be it in the form of advesrtisment, graphic or colour. Paints do not allow us to go the extra mile, since not everything which can be printed by using a digital print technology can be done with a paint job, moreover time taken for a paint job can leave you paralysed for weeks where as you are done with your wrap in few days once the design is finalised.

 

• What is a Vehicle wrap or a Car wrap?

A Wrap is a large vinyl graphic applied directly over the original paint of the vehicle. The application of the wrap allows you to change the vehicle’s appearance quickly and without damage to the paint. Customers can either choose a Full wrap which will cover all the exterior portions of the vehicle or Partial wrap which will cover only specific parts of the vehicle like, Roof or hood or trunk or sides.

 

• What are the types of a Vehicle wrap or Car wrap?

Two Types.

1. A Wrap could be a Vinyl graphic with a company logo or branding with the motive to advertise on wheels or

2. It could be a plain wrap to change the colour Signages of your car or vehicle with the motive to stand out from the crowd and be different.

 

• How is a Vehicle / Car Wrap different than a paint job?

Wraps are available in unique, exquisite and aristocratic colours and finishes which is otherwise not available if you go for a paint job. Painting has its own limitations since there is a lot that you cant do with a paint, for eg: You cannot get a 3D image on your car by simply painting it, where as sky is the limit when it comes to wrap, since the image can be printed using digital method on to the vinyl, which would then be wrapped on to your car. Imagine your car wrapped in a reddish brown leather finish, zoom past a market and make every head turn your way instantly. That feeling am sure is worth the money spent !

 

• Will a Vehicle wrap damage the vehicles existing paint?

No. In most cases it does not damage the Factory paint on the car, although if the vehicle has been exposed to too much moisture, a place like Mumbai, the paint job starts to loosen after few years resulting in rusting. Wrap does not stick to rust, hence if your vehicle has chipping paint, it may result in the paint chipping when the wrap is removed.

Vehicle wraps actually protects your vehicles existing paint since the exteriors is protected from harmful UV rays, Sun, dust and dirth, debris etc.

 

• Will a Vehicle wrap damaged during car wash?

No. Although few precautions have to be taken during a wash which would be briefed to you after installation. As a gesture, we give you the cleaning and maintenance kit after the wrap installation

 

• What colors and finishes are available if I dont want any printed graphics or advertisement on the wrap?

There are more than 40 types of wplain coloured wraps available in finishes such as Matt, Metallic Matt, Gloss, Metallic Gloss, Carbon Fibre, Brushed Metal, Leather look etc. One can see few choices of colours in the tab on the left side.
